I’ve got a 2007 Camry with 300k miles still running flawlessly with the original battery. Great job Toyota!! 👏👏👏. Have passed the Camry down to my daughter now and drive a 2013 Lexus (made by Toyota also) and so far so good - it’s got 125k miles on it! 🤞

The new car dealerships are not seeing much battery replacements only because the customers go do the replacement elsewhere for 45 min at home address and much less cost.

All this cost and many hours of replacement is not true, except you get it done with new cars dealership like this one. Alternative to the new car dealership expensive battery lack replacement will do the same job for less than hour and will charge less than $3,000, must check online and ignore the service offered by new car dealerships.

I have a quick question about my 2024 Corolla Hybrid LE. When the car is on hold and I shift into reverse (with the brake pressed), it starts to reverse but then stops abruptly, almost like there’s a chalk under the wheel and the car is trying to drive over it. Is this a concern(500 miles)

For a $40k xse, the front/back bumper are cheaply made that in a crash; very easily breaks and no protection at all. The trunk, no auto shut-button. No option for lay-back The back-seat. if have children and car seat; not much leg room as their feet will kick the back of front-seat. Moon/sun-roof is not auto standard but have to add more money for xse; sucks. Two-tones also not standard for xse, add more money package

Probably 60 000 with a 7% interest rate no thanks

There are inexpensive Sunroof Drain Cleaning Tools available from many places including Amazon. I run the tool down each drain on each of my sunroofs once a year which takes literally seconds for each drain. Moonroof or Panaramic roofs they all have drains and RUclips has the videos of using the tools.

Toyota does not care about the customers. I bought a 2024 Lexus Luxury Edition and like many other owners received only one complete fob and one with just a mechanical key and no fob. This unacceptable practice and been going on since 2020 and many have yet to receive a fob. They have many excuses but the pandemic is long over so chip shortage is just another worthless excuse. Please go to the Lexus forum and see for yourself. I bought a Honda and lo and behold I received two fobs and much better customer service. When my four-year warranty is up I will probably buy an Acura top trim level. Toyota has gotten arrogant and complacent with their customers and this is more proof if you ever needed any. IMHO

If they want to save the planet, why are they buying these vehicles which requires 13 and 14 year old kids in Africa to work in the mines 10 hours a day digging up Rare Earth minerals

$7000 for hybrid battery replacement, no way. I can buy the 2023 Kona hybrid battery for $1800 trade. It sits under the back seat. 4 hours labour to replace.

But HOW does the differential lock??? It also is only available in 4x4low. I have a trd off road, but I don't see any wires going to the diff so how does it lock electrically?

Also people do your car’s paint a favor and never take it through a car wash that has those brushes. Always go through a brushless/touch-less car wash if you want your paint to be swirl free.

It is sad Toyota refuses to use LFP batteries. They will wait until the demand drops then release it as a major upgrade. LFP are ideal for hybrid use.

No mentioning on oil change. Toyota is suggesting first oil change with a new car after 10000km...where others suggest first after 1500km and than every 5000km or twice a year, and if you want to do it your way they threatening you with warranty loss.

Our 2004 Prius with 140k miles is still running after 20 years. The capacity of the battery is reduced, but it still works.

First oil change 500-1000 miles, then every 5000 miles after that. NEVER go 10,000 miles between oil changes.

Test drove a 2024 Corolla SE, a 2024 Civic Sport, Kia Forte GT Line and a Nissan Sentra (fully loaded). Absolutely hated the Corolla. It was slow, uncomfortable seats and the harshest ride. Overpriced for what you get, ultimately ended up buying the Kia Forte GT Line, as my trade in was a Kia Forte and had 154K miles with no issues at all. Just needed more up to date tech and better fuel mileage. Love my Forte 😎👍🏼
